Eight golfers from Johnston Smillie, with varying levels of skill, are taking to the golf course on the Summer Solstice (21 June 2017) to raise money for our nominated charity for 2017/18. The golfers will be setting their alarm clocks for the very early hours of the morning with the intention of being on the first tee well before sunrise. Fluorescent balls, high vis jackets and night vision glasses will all be on display as the weary golfers set off on their overnight adventure.
Johnston Smillie’s nominated charity for 2017/18 is Spinal Muscular Atrophy Support UK (SMA Support UK). Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a genetic neuromuscular disease which affects the nerves responsible for muscle function. One of our colleagues has a son that suffers from the condition so there is a greater feeling of determination to exceed our fundraising targets of the past.
We have set up a Just Giving page where all donations would be greatly appreciated.

We are running a small competition to guess the total combined score of all of the golfers. To take part please leave your guess in the comments box along with your name.
For those who wish to donate via an alternative way, please contact one of the golfing team on 0131 317 7377
