Welcome to our latest E-newsletter which is our first of the new tax year.
I am very pleased to advise that we have developed our own simple and cost effective solution for businesses that need to comply with the new Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT regulations that we have featured in previous newsletters. The new Johnstonn Smillie MTD for VAT Filer has been approved for use by HMRC and gives businesses, who have not yet subscribed to software that is MTD compliant, a further option to consider. Our E-newsletter below also includes articles on the change to the taxation of personal service companies scheduled to take effect from April 2020, forms P11D, which are due to be lodged by 6 July 2019 and the recent Spring statement amongst others.
