10 Things you didn’t know about Angie
What does a typical work day involve for you? My days are always varied. If I am not supporting our payroll or admin department, I will be organising some fundraising event or dealing with educational bursary applications for one of our clients.
If you were not in the role you are in now, what would you be? I think if I could choose again, I would be a nurse. I love watching medical programmes and find the human body fascinating.
What pets did you have when you were growing up and what were their names? We had a ginger cat called ‘Flicker’ and I had a gerbil called ‘Dartmoor’ as I thought that seeing him in his cage was like keeping him in prison.
What is your favourite hobby/pastime? I love to visit different and new places as much as possible and to go on long walks.
What fictional place would you most like to go to? This would have to be ‘Tara’ from Gone with The Wind. To be in such an amazing house and to be able to wear fantastic gowns and be treated like a real lady!
What is your favourite food and drink? My favourite food would have to be Aromatic Crispy Duck. If we ever go to the Chinese for a meal, I always get funny looks when I order half a duck for myself. This would be complimented by a glass or two of my favourite white wine, Gruner Veltliner.
Where is your favourite place in the world and why? Paris is definitely my favourite place so far. I love the history, architecture and way of life, not to mention how romantic a place it is.
What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend? It would be to go down to Newcastle to spend the weekend with the kids. Always full of fun and laughter.
What was the best book or series that you’ve ever read? I really enjoy books by Linwood Barclay. You can’t beat a bit of suspense!
What was the first single you bought or track you downloaded? I think the first single I ever bought was in blue vinyl and was ‘Everyday Hurts’ by Sad Cafe
