What does a typical work day involve for you? At the moment I am assisting with the preparation of tax returns for clients and submitting them to HMRC. I also check tax repayment notifications and PAYE coding notices for clients.
If you were not working in accountancy, what would you have done? I would definitely be a golfer. I have a handicap of +3
What pets did you have when you were growing up and what were their names? My dog is a Westie called Hamish. He is 5 years old.
What is your favourite hobby/pastime? Golf is my favourite pastime but I also like playing and watching football.
What fictional place would you most like to go to? Hogwarts, the special effects in the film were fantastic, so I would like to see it for myself.
What is your favourite food and drink? Chicken curry washed down with a Tennent’s lager.
Where is your favourite place in the world and why? New York, I have visited once and was completely blown away by it.
What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend? I normally play golf on a Saturday morning and then go and watch Heart of Midlothian football team in the afternoon. Sundays are for relaxing.
What was the best book or series that you’ve ever read? The Harry Potter Books by J.K. Rowling
What was the first single you bought or track you downloaded? Probably a single by ‘Busted’
