Thanks to automatic enrolment (AE) employees are saving into their pensions more than ever. According to The Pensions Regulator more than 10 million employees have been enrolled into a workplace pension scheme.

Employers are reminded that their legal duties don’t end after an employee has been auto enrolled.  Employers are responsible for ensuring the right amount of pension contributions are paid promptly into their pension scheme.

If employers fail to contribute to the workplace pension scheme correctly or on time, they risk being fined by The Pensions Regulator.
