Following another successful year of fundraising, we would like to take this opportunity to reflect on some of the achievements of the charity in the year to 31 March 2024.

Our fundraising highlights during the year included:

  • £2,450 raised at the quiz night held at the Edinburgh Sports Club in May 2023.
  • £12,479 raised at our Ladies Afternoon Tea event at the Virgin Hotel Edinburgh in September 2023.
  • The Sportsmans lunch held at Turnhouse Golf Club in November 2023 raised £13,757.
  • A charity party night held at the Gorgie Suite raised a fantastic total of £21,235, with a surplus of £14,653 after deduction of the cost of the event. This event was organised jointly with Steps to Hope SCIO and donation of £7,500 was made to them following the event.
  • Further funds were raised from staff donations, hamper giveaways and a grand national sweepstake.
