Lauren joined Johnston Smillie in October 2021 from an accountancy practice in Livingston where she worked as an Administration Assistant. It was whilst completing bookkeeping for clients, her knowledge of accountancy grew and decided that this would be the career path she would follow.

After completing her HNC in accountancy in 2020, Lauren is now working towards gaining her AAT/ACCA qualifications.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her partner, family and, we must not forget, Mushu, her bearded dragon.

Another interest of Lauren’s is cars and she spends a lot of time personalising her own just so that it looks just right.
