Gema joined Johnston Smillie in September 2026 and is currently working towards her ATT qualification. She has experience in a range of personal tax matters, including self-assessment tax returns, capital gains tax, P11Ds and PSAs. Gema developed an interest in tax while studying in Spain and began her UK tax career in 2023 with an independent accountancy firm.

Outside of work Gema enjoys cooking, playing video games and fostering cats.
