Blair joined the Tax Department at Johnston Smillie as a Client Manager in September 2023, having worked in Personal Tax since July 2018.  He attained his CTA qualification in February 2024.

He assists with the following matters within our Tax Department: –

• Personal Tax Returns
• Trust Tax Returns
• Partnership Tax Returns
• Capital Gains Tax Calculations including 60-day property returns
• Income and Expenditure Accounts

In addition, he has experience with various aspects of personal tax including foreign tax implications (residency, domicile, double taxation agreements), pension annual allowance calculations, HMRC enquiries and Forms P11D.

Outside of work Blair enjoys playing and watching football, as well as spending time with his family and friends.
