Strategic Framework Business Fund – Update
The Strategic Framework Business Fund has provided grants to eligible Scottish businesses that were required to close by law or to significantly change their operations due to COVID-19 restrictions from 2 November 2020.
The First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, announced earlier today that lockdown restrictions will start to ease further in Scotland from 2 April 2021. As a result :-
- The Strategic Framework Business Fund will close to new applicants from 22 March 2021
- The final four weekly payment to eligible businesses from the fund will be made on 22 March 2021. This payment will be in line with previous months:-
£2,000 for businesses with a rateable value of up to £51,000
£3,000 for businesses with a rateable value over £51,001
- There will then be a combined final two week supplement and one off restart grant payment made on 19 April 2021:-
Retail businesses will receive:-
£7,000 for businesses with a rateable value of up to £51,000 (Two week supplement of £1,000 plus restart grant of £6,000)
£7,500 for businesses with a rateable value of over £51,001 (Two week supplement of £1,500 plus restart grant of £6,000)
Hospitality and leisure businesses will receive:-
£9,000 for businesses with a rateable value of up to £15,000 (Two week supplement of £1,000 plus restart grant of £8,000)
£13,000 for businesses with a rateable value of between £15,001 to £51,000 (Two week supplement of £1,000 plus restart grant of £12,000)
£19,500 for businesses with a rateable value of over £51,001 (Two week supplement of £1,500 plus restart grant of £18,000)
All businesses who are currently receiving support from The Strategic Framework Business Fund will receive the final payment and two week supplement and restart grant.
The payments will be made automatically and there will be no need to apply for these.
