Scottish Food and Drink Producers Fund
The Scottish Food and Drink Producers Fund will provide support for Scottish food and drink producers supplying the hospitality sector. The fund will help businesses which suffered financial losses due to cancelled orders caused by the introduction of the new Covid-19 measures in December 2021 and January 2022.
For the purposes of this fund, a food and drink producer is defined as a primary or secondary producer, such as a meat producer, farmer, baker, food processor or hatchery which manufactures/ makes/ grows/ processes/ repackages consumable products. The producer may carry out wholesale and retail functions, however, the primary business must be as a producer.
