Welcome to our July E-Newsletter
As the summer (and good weather!) is upon us, our July E-newsletter offers a variety of blogs, including a number regarding payroll and pension issues and an update on the charity events that we have been involved with for our nominated charity It’s Good 2 Give!
Payroll is becoming more and more complicated and our payroll department is expanding as businesses discover that outsourcing is a good way to relieve them from the burden of compliance. The main issue facing employers at the moment is the third anniversary of auto-enrolment and the challenge of re-enrolment. Our payroll team have a process that makes this seamless for our clients.
The 10 Things you didn’t know about article this month focusses on a long serving member of staff, Clarke Wood, who I have worked with for many, many years. I wonder if there is anything in this article that I do not already know?!
Finally a reminder re Making Tax Digital for VAT (MTD for VAT). If you have a June VAT quarter end and have not already looked at this, you will need to assess if you require to register for MTD for VAT. Our advice would be to do this sooner rather than later.
