The Scottish Government has announced that Hardship and Closure grants will now be extended to bowling and other sports clubhouses which are licensed to serve alcohol and are therefore equivalent to bars that must close or modify their operations.

The closure grants are also extended to sports clubs, gyms and others that operate from their own non-domestic premises and have not been allowed to run or charge for group exercise classes since 9 October 2020.

Applications for these funds close at 5 pm on 3rd November

Please see our earlier blog for details on how to apply:-

These businesses will also be eligible to apply for further Scottish Government grants from 2 November 2020 under the Government’s “refreshed strategic approach” to dealing with Coronavirus:-
