Nicola completed her HND accounting in 2011 and has been in practice since then. She joined Johnston Smillie in March 2014 before becoming a Chartered Accountant student. As a CA student, Nicola works in most departments, gaining experience for her CA qualification.

Nicola is currently involved in a lot of different aspects of the business which include statutory year-end accounts, sole trader and partnership accounts, charity accounts and independent examinations, personal tax returns, external audits, bookkeeping and VAT Returns.  She is also a qualified Xero certified advisor.
