Kyle joined Johnston Smillie as a school leaver in October 2018 with the goal of becoming a chartered accountant.

He started his career working in the Administration Department before moving on to work in Business Services, Accounts and Audit. This path has given Kyle a sound knowledge of internal practices and also allowed him to develop his knowledge in various accounting areas.

Kyle attained his AATQB qualification in June 2022 and has now moved onto studying ICAS, which he started in September 2022.

In his spare time, Kyle plays competitive golf and has a handicap of +1. He is a member of the golf club men’s team and has also played for the county team.
