The Scottish Government has announced that it will make further grants available to businesses as part of their “refreshed strategic approach” to suppressing coronavirus (COVID-19).
With effect from 2 November 2020: –
- Businesses that are required by law to close will be eligible for a grant every 4 weeks, for as long as the restrictions last. The grant will either be £2,000 or £3,000 depending on rateable values.
- Businesses that can remain open, but that are directly impacted by the measures, will be eligible for a grant every 4 weeks, for as long as the restrictions last. The grant will either be £1,400 or £2,100 again based on rateable values
The grants will be made available via the local authorities.
We will confirm the finer details of the grants. Including which businesses will be eligible, as soon as these are published.
