Capital City Partnership COVID-19 Small Grants Programme

Capital City Partnership has developed a small grants programme to support businesses across the six local authority areas – Edinburgh, East Lothian, Fife, Midlothian, Scottish Borders and West Lothian.

Micro businesses, which require funding to assist their business to trade safely under the Covid 19 guidelines to protect jobs or to help staff work efficiently from home can apply for a grant. The definition of a Micro Business is one with less than 10 employees or an annual turnover of less than £632,000.

Businesses can apply for a minimum grant of £500 up to a maximum of £1,000

The grant can be used to purchase equipment or software deemed necessary to trade legally and that will support the retention of employees and contracts of employment.  This includes laptops, iPads, printers, monitors, HDMI cables, Wifi/data dongles, desks, chairs, RSI prevention equipment, and PPE etc.

Note that the deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 9 October 2020.
