What does a typical work day involve for you?  I prepare VAT returns and management accounts for a variety of clients. I also am involved in software implementation and training for clients.

If you were not working in accountancy, what would you have done?  If I wasn’t an accountant, I would probably be either a geography teacher or a geologist.

What pets did you have when you were growing up and what were their names? We had a devilish hamster called Molly. I wasn’t particularly keen on her as she was a biter, the embodiment of evil.

What is your favourite hobby/pastime? I enjoy watching football and love playing video games.

What fictional place would you most like to go to? I absolutely adore the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies so it would have to be Middle Earth.

What is your favourite food and drink? My favourite food would have to be pepperoni pizza, washed down with a nice glass of Coke.

Where is your favourite place in the world and why? Having never been abroad, I would say London.  It is such a nice fascinating city with so much history.

What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend? My ideal weekend would involve watching Hibernian or Manchester United (although maybe not so much this year…) and going out for a nice meal and a leisurely walk.

What was the best book or series that you’ve ever read? I am not an avid reader, but the best book I have read is ‘One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ by Ken Kesey.

What was the first single you bought or track you downloaded? The first single I bought was ‘Dark of the Matinee’ by Franz Ferdinand.
