Business rates in Scotland.
The next Revaluation of all non-domestic properties is underway in England, Scotland and Wales. This means that all properties are given a new rateable value and poundage in Scotland will be changed until the next Revaluation (likely to be in 5 years’ time).

We expect figures to be firmed up and notices issued in March 2017. The new rateable value will then become effective on the 1 April 2017 and parties with an interest in the property will have until 30 September 2017 to lodge any appeal.
