What does a typical work day involve for you? I work in the corporate team preparing statutory accounts, tax and VAT returns.
If you were not an accountant, what would you be? I would probably be a psychologist as I find human behaviour fascinating. I had actually considered it as a career before choosing accountancy.
What pets did you have when you were growing up and what were their names? We had a goldfish called Sam and a rabbit named Floppy who sadly ran away.
What is your favourite hobby/pastime? I enjoy catching up with family and friends, hitting the gym, or just relaxing with some yoga or a good book.
What fictional place would you most like to go to? I would love to visit the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
What is your favourite food and drink? This is a tough question as I’m such a foodie, but my current go-to cuisine is Tex-Mex and favourite drink has to be tea.
Where is your favourite place in the world and why? I love to be by the sea, whether it’s going for a walk along the coast or relaxing by the beach.
What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend? Going for a walk in the countryside or up one of Scotland’s beautiful hills, followed by a stop at a café for some cake.
What was the best book or series that you’ve ever read? Definitely the Harry Potter series, I’ve read it too many times to count!
What was the first single you bought or track you downloaded? This feels like a very long time ago, but I think it was Steps.
